Budget & Finance Committee Meeting Minutes

Monday, September 29, 2003

The LPRW Budget & Finance Committee met at 4:30 p.m. on Monday, September 29, 2003 in the LPRW meeting room. The meeting was called to order by Chairman Bill Ufkin with committee members Charlie Simonson, and Jerry Lonneman present. Frank Engels, Don Evers and Dennis Healy were also present.

The meeting was called to review preliminary FY2004 Budget estimates and committee recommendations. The Committee agreed to use an operating revenue estimate of $2,380,000 for the preliminary budget. The preliminary estimates from the Personnel Committee were reviewed and included in the preliminary budget. The recommendations of the Water Resources and Equipment Committee and staff were reviewed, and referred back to the Committee for review of the staff recommendations.

M/S/P Lonneman/Simonson to proceed with the preliminary budget with the information available.

There being no further business the meeting was adjourned at 6:00 p.m.
