BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
The Lincoln Pipestone Rural Water System (LPRW) was established
in 1979 pursuant to Minnesota Statute 116A through a joint powers
agreement pursuant to Minnesota Statute 471.59 and under the jurisdiction
of the Fifth Judicial District.
The MISSION of LPRW is "To enhance the quality of life for
the people in the southwest Minnesota area by acquiring and providing
reliable, high quality, affordable water in an environmentally responsible
manner through a publicly-owned system."
